The wind was so strong during Jane's talk that the old projection screen ripped from its housing! The rangers stepped in to hold the screen in place while she finished.

Here's the back of the Caravan packed with three large telescopes. With our luggage in a car top carrier, there was plenty of room for the four of us.

On Wednesday, we visited the USGS office in Flagstaff, and met with fellow astronomer and geodesist (or cartographer) Brent Archinal. We met here at the Shoemaker building. Brent gave a talk about USGS and its Huygens image mapping work Sunday at the star party.

On display in the lobby of the Shoemaker building is the practice lunar rover used for training the astronauts on Apollo 15 through 17.
